VRSciVi Workbench

VRSciVi Workbench within the SciVi platform is suited for controlling immersive VR environments. VRSciVi has the client-server architecture. VRSciVi Server (available here) is responsible for displaying the VR scene using Unreal Engine 4 as a graphics rendering system. VRSciVi Client is a set of SciVi platform plugins (available here) to build and control virtual scenes, as well as to collect and analyze related data about human activities within VR. The communication between Client and Server relies on the WebSocket protocol, which is detailed in this paper.

The scene built upon SciVi Workbench is available here. It is a setup for eye-tracking-based experiments involving 2D stimuli shown in gallery-like VR environment:
